Dallas Hope Charities is the foundation arm of Cathedral of Hope United Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to mobilize and inspire a vibrant, inclusive and progressive volunteer force to bring tangible positive transformation to the lives of all who are marginalized.
LifeWalk 2017 is taking place on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Our official team, the MeeMaw Walkers, is once again walking to raise money for the Evelyn Pruitt AIDS Crisis Fund, which assists individuals and families affected by HIV and AIDS (a fund that is being depleted faster than it can be replenished right now). With the highest rate of infections in Texas, Dallas needs your help. By participating in LifeWalk, you are investing in the health and well-being of individuals and the communities that you know, work, and play in every day. Please donate or walk with us this year – together, we can help make an AIDS-free generation a reality.
As a walker, you can be assured that the money you raise is well-managed. In fact, 85% of every dollar raised goes directly into the fund. Learn more about LifeWalk at the official LifeWalk website by Prism Health North Texas. As we near the LifeWalk date, registration information will be available on this website, at Cathedral of Hope, and through various other means.
This is a seasonal way to give back. For more information, please use the links to the right or below to contact us or donate to the team.
