Thanksgiving reminds us, with food and friends, how blessed we are. For many years, we have provided food for 500 individuals and families. Shopping for the food, filling the baskets and bringing them to Cathedral of Hope allows us to share ourselves as well as our food.
Please consider participating in this Thanksgiving tradition by donating the $40 required to purchase a basket. The link below allows you to select the number of baskets you would like to fund and will take you to secure checkout. November 24th will be the last day to purchase a basket. Thank you so much for your generosity in this season of giving!
If you prefer to participate in this tradition by bringing a basket of your own, you can do so by visiting the appropriate table in the Cathedral of Hope vestibule before and after the 9:00 and 11:00 services. Baskets are collected on Compassion Sunday (November 24, 2019) before the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services and are distributed after the 11 a.m. service begins.
Purchase a Thanksgiving Basket in lieu of purchasing the items and delivering a full basket. Each purchase will provide one family with:
